High power PM60 Electro-permanent fine pole magnetic chuck mounted on precision swivel supports with up to 90° tilting action both ways.
The System
The Magnetic Systems range of EP swivel chucks offers infinite angle adjustment from 0° to 90°. Manufactured to specific requirements the chuck pivots about its centre on precision roller bearings. Once set to the desired angle it is clamped in position with the integral shaft clamps on each end.
The Chuck
The PM60 range of magnetic chucks have 5mm steel / 5mm brass precision top plate and are controlled by digital electronic control system with remote facility. This system along with the even distribution of magentic power from rare earth magnets offers excellent work holding for thinner work pieces as well as conventional work. All units are fully encapsulated and sealed against liquid penetration and are ideal for use in flood coolant conditions.
